Hey Brothers, I was offered a catering job by a friend and unfortunately I'll be in Michigan at a contest and can't do it. Here's the run down:
The guy's name is Dan and he is from western Kansas. His girl's softball team made the National Fast Pitch tournament in Blue Springs, MO and they'll be staying at a hotel in Lee's Summit. They'll arrive on Sunday July 16 and will have two girls teams (all 14 and under), coaches and parents. He expects 60 people.
I talked to him about what he wanted. I explained that first, he'll need to check with the hotel to see if they'll allow this on site. Could need to move to a park or someplace similar. I also told him that brisket, ribs, etc. might be beyond his desired cost of around $10 per plate but that would depend on level of service and how he wanted it done. He said he'd probably be good with chicken, burgers and hot dogs with some beans and potato salad.
