Damn this is good. Only complaint is that I only had one. Kept it simple, S&P that's all, Temp? don't know how accurate the thermo on my SS performer is. Stayed between 300 and 325. Pulled after 5 1/2 hours, don't know the temp but my knife probed with no effort. Wrapped in foil for an hour and pulled. If you haven't done this yet put it high on your list. Thanks for looking.

I absolutely LOVE pulled chuckie. I keep it simple with the rub too. S&P, or just plain jane montreal steak. Most of the time I do tacos so I have tried the taco seasoning pack as a rub. worked out okay.

I also love pulled chuckie. I always buy two, because as you know, one is not enough. The only problem is my wife keeps taking one from the freezer and making pot roast with it.

Nice job. I keep putting off the chuckie because there haven't been any good deals (above $4/lb) or the ones I've seen were cut too thin--Walmart only ever seems to offer chuck roasts cut about the thickness of a thick steak.

chuckie pot roast isn't the worst thing--it can be really good if you do it right.

Haha this made me laugh. Wives are so well meaning you can't get mad when this happens. But they do have a way unintentionally spoiling our fun sometimes.

Looking good, fedex! Love me a smoked chuckie. Did two of them Sunday. One was pulled for Pepper stout beef and the other was sliced to go with the roasted garlic smashed taters for Sunday dinner. Pepper stout beef is like chili, always better if left to age a few days. Only way I've found to let it age is to cook another chuckie for dinner so everyone forgets about the PSB. Guess what's for dinner tonite. That PSB goes great on a toasted roll with a slice of provolone!

Did one today, didn't pull it, just thin sliced.
