OK I just got my membership to restaurant depot this morning!

I called MrsMista and told her to pack up cause we are moving in! I love that place! Man I could lost in there for days!

I picked a 16.66#'s of pork but at $1.19/# and a bag of Royal Oak for $7.99. Way cheaper than anywhere else out here. Some stuff was the same or higher, but I saw a lot of great deals.

How's the Restaurant Depot in your area?

The closest one to me is in the DFW area. I do believe the gas money I'd spend would knock the hell out of those discounted prices...

Last time I bought Pork Butt it was $1.02 a pound a RD. And yup, it's much cheaper there than anywhere else.

I use GFS and Sam's - I have my state sales tax certificate on file and that gets me the business account. Some places will accept you based on business card, etc. It's easier if you have your state tax certificate and/or federal EIN. There's no Restaurant Depot around here - there are a couple of locations south of here in Davies and Pomano Beach.

thing with RD is that some stuff is WAYYY cheaper and other stuff is really expensive compared to Costco and Sams. Meats are hit and miss, catering stuff is cheaper at costco. I go there to get the stuff i cannot get elesewhere. They carry alot of stuff, like appetizers, mixers, dressings, spices etc.. in bulk that are not readily available at the super market.

Do you have a website for them? I'd like to check out their locations. I'm hoping there is one in Denver, we make trips down there a few times a year.

We just gave them a copy of my Wife's Business Tax ID to keep on file and they gave us the cards. They allowed us 3 cards under my wifes account. It's a great place to shop as the have everything at great prices. Just just have to shop bulk for the best prices.

We do have a Sams Club, but heck its a 50 some mile round trip for me.
