I have always liked hash, as long as it was not "mushy".
Decided to try my own.
Did my research and came up with this concoction.
Tater, onion, fattie, smoked ham, and bacon.
All fried up crisp.
Dusted with Emeril's "BAM", of course.
Coupla eggs on the side.

Well worth the effort--YUMMY!!!!

Pork fat rules!!!!!!!!!!!

You are so right Kapn. Try takin some of that fat off your butts and drop some in your chili and smoke. Too good to describe. Its good with green beans too!!!

Nice Tim !!! Looks great... I'm sure it tasted just as good if not better.

All I had was a bagel and cream cheese for breakfast... very jealous...

Nice looking hash. I would have used corn beef, but the ham and bacon sounds yummy.

looks good, tim. I gave up "regular hash", from a Libbys can about 10 yrs ago at a campout, when some dumsonabitch pointed out the nutrition label. I aint ate it since, but.....

No comparison between the canned "stuff":-D and home-made, corned-beef or beef, or something else, like Kapn's mix. Most of the canned stuff is nasty.
Good home made hash, however is a totally different animal. If you have not tried it, you owe yourself.
Nutrition? unless you are low carbing, its fine, if you are lo carbing, cheat:-D

Todd--I am so sorry

I am on a high salt, high carb, high fat, high cholesterol, and (most importantly) HIGH TASTE diet.

I do keep forgetting that there are those out there who need to cut back.

I will try to do better in the future........NOT

One of my favorite things to toss into a homemade hash is frozen tater totts. Bake them up and mash them into some left over meat. Yummm.
