Bud isn't even beer... just pisswater made from rice. Lifes too short with too many beers to try to drink that crap.

Favorite is... anything made locally has been really good stuff. Mcmennamins make bagdad Ale that I really like, but it's a brewpub so nobody here will have ever tried it.

Of the stuff sold in the store, Bier de Mars from New Belgian brewery is good too.

Imported: Guinness and, for me, Gennessee Cream Ale IS an import.
This really is a tough question; there are so many I haven't tasted yet. Life is too short to waste time with Bud. It's like fermented, piss-coloured water but advertising sells it.

I was a homebrewer for about 10 years. I really enjoy all beers, be it a whoop-ass double IPA, a huge Imperial Stout or a fresh American Light Lager on draught. If it's Mexican food, I love a Pacifico with a lime, with Sushi I really enjoy a Sapporo, a Singha with Thai food etc.

I really do enjoy Sierra Nevada's Celebration Ale, Anchor's Liberty Ale, Dogfish Head is doing some amazing stuff....really any number of sturdy hoppy beers.

I too used to home brew. I used to make a batch a week. Got tired of the bottle B.S. and built a home keg set up. Had kegs of beer everywhere. But then just ran out of time to keep up with my hobby, not to mention my consumption. Fun times though!
Too hard these days to keep up with all the micro brews.
I'm always willing to try something new though.
So if you stop through........

Boat- Agree, Tito's is good stuff, we just got it distributed here in Central Fla.
However, have you tried potato vodka?

My personal favorite-Teton Glacier Potato Vodka-the only potato vodka made in America. Russet potatoes form Idaho, and water from the glaciers of the Tetons. Smoothest vodka in the world.
Next choice- Lukusowa Potato vodka, from Poland, very good and a good price point.

Fat Tire is good beer... even better if you can find a place with it on tap.

I never drink more than a pint or 2, so I really do like good beer (cost about the same as a whole lot of the piss-water some of the guys around here drink). I gotta put up with a lot of liberal crap living in Portland, but there's no better place to live for fishing or beer. We've got more breweries per person than anywhere but some city in Germany. Seems like there's a new brewpub springing up every couple of days.

Dam you boys are makin me thirsty (These pretzels are making me THIRSTY! Kramer) I'm dyin for a beer and cant have one. I'm on Prednazone and Avalox antibiotic. Get this, Saturday I get up with massive pain in the back and head, dealt with it. It was worse Sunday. Thought about going to Patient 1st but decided not to (super Bozo move) if the pain was still there come Monday I would go to my local Dr. By this time I'm on Tylenol and everything else I have at the house. Sunday night I slept maybe an hour, in total pain, couldn't get comfortable in any position.

Couldn't get in to see my local Dr till 11AM. Ive got a pinched nerve in my lower back and sinusitis at the same FARKin time (this needs to be posted in the Fark thread). Worst 3 days of my life. And it gets better: I'm on vaca this week! Ive got a list a mile long of things to be done around here. All labor intensive around the house stuff that Ive put off for this week. WTF?!?! I just cant win sometimes guys!

Okay, I'm off to the Fark thread to post this one.
