Cooking for a Friend today

A friend of mine earlier this week, said he has been Jonesing for some Que. So what is a man to do? Help him get his fix!! Picked up four butts from Sam's all are 8&9lbs each. Hit them with some McCormicks Applewood and Pork rub (what he wanted).

Using my stumps clone with RO lump and a mix of pecan and peach chunks and using the Ique 110 set at 275. It's raining here so had to take cover.

Cooked a butt and 4 racks of ribs yesterday for a get together today.
Will be reheating in the oven today due to the crappy weather.... :sad:

Three hours into the cook, the kids finally woke up and wanted to know what I was cooking. Baby girl was mad cause I didn't have her any ribs!!! So what is a dad to do? If baby girl wants ribs, then ribs is what she gets!! After a quick trip to the store, got her some baby backs for lunch today.

Jonesing is what addicts do when they haven't had a fix in a while. Banana peppers are a very mild sweet pepper.

3 1/2 hours with the last 30 mins being sauces with Blues hog Original and it was time for lunch.

Turned out very good for an unplanned lunch. Now kicking back in the easy chair waiting for the butts to finish.

So my friend got here a little early and we got busy pulling the butts and only got shot of them. The total cook time was 8 hours exactly. He left here a happy and greatfull man. It was fun to be able to cook for someone else. Thanks looking.
