Got another picnic shoulder on sale and that's what we made on Sunday.

Seasoned with left over rubs.

Smoked with apple wood for about 13 hours. I didn't use any temp probes or anything during the cook. When I had a feeling it was ready i took temp and it was 195 left it in the smoker for another 30 min and it jumped to 201. So that's fine with me..

Got some Maulls bbq sauce and added pepper, cumin, cayenne and it was spicy. I left in the smoker for about 30 min or so.

Plated and I must say it has to be in my top 3 best pulled pork ever.

Awesome food. But I've to to say something....you my friend are a true beer drinker. Every thread you make has a different brand of beer. Nothing wrong with that! Keep on cookin and keep on drinkin!

Hey, I spent the afternoon with the Dodgers too, but they wouldn't let me bring the cooker up the escalator.

I usually buy what's on sale... My whole adult drinking career I would drink Mexican beers. Sometimes I just want a bud light or coors light . Sometimes the brethren would give me a hard time about that. I can't drink Mexican imports all the time...lol

Food looks good as always. I catch grief too every time I show a Coors Light. Oh well, they are good.

Long time lurker, and, next to my wife and kids, my three favorite things in the world are, in no particular order, the Dodgers, BBQ and beer. I couldn't think of a better thread to break my proverbial cherry on. Heck, I even had my Assassin painted with Dodger Blue. Nice work Tony , pleasure to meet a fellow Dodger fan.

Regards fellow Brethren.

Nice looking meal! I give you praise despite being from Northern California... Your pork looks awesome and the whole meal delicious. I expect to see the A's in the World Series against the Dodgers and the A's will win off a Cespedes home run! :)
