Has anyone turned the jumbo joe into a smoker simian to the mini wsm? If so what did you use for the body?

A 30gal drum would work.

Or just wait till next year and Weber is coming back out with what was originally the 1880.

I ended up making a UDS out of an 18.5" Bar-B-Kettle, because the 30 gallon drum that I had (with no lid) was too big to fit inside my SJP/Jumbo Joe.

I had to cut the top of the bowl and had it tack welded to the inside of the drum so the lid would fit.

I'm still waiting to see one!
A PBC Clone would be a better use of a 30 gallon drum than a WSM clone IMO

here's what I did to get the pro-q section to fit in the base of the jumbo joe. a series of cuts with the sawzall then bend the tabs in. fits like a glove.
