Right now on Destination America is an episode where they make a smoker and such. Have not seen it before. Hope it's good.

Well I was hasty to post it before seeing it. Didn't have much in the bbq department. What was cool was they showed how they made lump charcoal. Just wondering why would they go through that whole process of making the coal when they could have just used the wood itself?

Btw the next episode showed the blacksmith's smokehouse. That was very very cool. The man had a 55 drum horizontal on his porch. With a chimney that ran all the way to the smoke house. Perhaps I am wrong but it looked like the chimney was pitched down toward the smoke house.

And I agree with you all they do seem nice and genuine.

I think the best one is when they used a feller winch to get that ole' Willy's jeep out of the woods.

Did they take the plastic out of that fridge before smoking that fish?

I liked the episode where they made a big steel screw driven by the rear of the Ranger pickup to split wood. I was waiting for someone to lose a limb.
