Question about making a glaze.

I have a vinegar based basting sauce that I like. If I wanted to make a glaze with it would I just add honey? If this is the way to a glaze here is the ratio I was thinking of trying. The basting sauce is thin so I was thinking 1/2 c honey to 1-1/2 c of sauce???

I just spray apple juice for a glaze....

Never tried honey.....
