Now I know that it's not "true Q" using my propane grill and a smoker box, but buying a new house makes funds tight to build my UDS. I have an unlined barrel waiting for me to start, ill post pics when I start to build it too!

Last night I did bacon wrapped sweet and smokey chicken thighs, yes I know...no pron, it never happened. Too bad, they were delicious and devoured before I got pictures

Hope to contribute lots of lip smacking goodness over the next few months. remember, Memorial Day is about remembering those who've given their all so that we remain free, not about the barbecue!

Thank you for your service CPO Chris Kyle, USN. You'll never be forgotten.

If sfc stands for sergeant first class, thank you for your service.

As for the ABT's, it looks like you have a great start. Will you be getting pictures of the finished product? Remember we like Pron.

Don't try one before you take pictures. You'll never get any taken.

A thing of beauty! How long did they last?

They were gone in 10 mins. The hostess of the party tried to hide them, she failed. Now to work on building a UDS

Welcome to the wonderful world of ABT's! Looks tasty. Did you use a mix of Jalaps and sweet peppers? Just curious as I see some yellow peppies in there.

As a matter of fact, I did use some sweet peppers. Aldi has a 2 lb bag of mini sweet peppers for $2 so I did some for the kids. As it turned out I didn't need to do the sweet ones. By cooking the Jalapeno ones so long, they became pretty sweet on their own, but with an amazing Jalapeno flavor.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I look forward to getting my UDS underway. Thanks for reminding me to call about picking up my drum today!

Hope everyone's Memorial Day Observation went well and was a nice relaxing weekend.
