This 1958 Weber Wood Dale is on its way. It had one owner for 55 years. I am owner #2. All parts are original except the cooking grate. The grill is in great shape for its age. Cant wait!!

I have a few more up my sleeve and then I will lay low for "a while". The grill I bought from you is cleaning up real nice. I am not done with it yet though. Yes, I do have a pair of gloves!

Yes, all original except the grill surface. The owner of 55 years was the CPA for The Weber Metal Company at the time. He bought it straight off the assembly line at a discounted price of $15.00 in 1958.

I would like to see a family photo. Love the pecan wood btw. I thought I was done but then ended up picking up a green SS performer in trade for some labor. and tomorrow I have 2 30gallon drums coming my way to turn my 2 18;s into med ugly drums. this is an addictive hobby.

The '58 Wood Dale is in the house!!! Cleaned it up a bit but left everything alone otherwise.......

That looks like one of the ones I have, when did they stop making them like that with the steel handles? I think mine are wood on the lid though

Looks good. A couple questions:

Are the legs painted black ?

Why does the handle on the bowl have a hole on top ?

I am sure my Cado has the holes on the bottom for drainage.
