View Full Version : A Hamburger...no really, it's a HAMburger...look!

My wife and I were talking about what I should make for the burger TD and since I'm not all that creative I just went with the obvious. A hamburger of course, not just any hamburger a real HAMburger, not one of those super juicy oozing with goey cheese beef burgers. :loco:

I remember the other day someone asked what goes good with ham, and my answer was mac and cheese, for sure. So I present my Mac and Cheese HAMburger with Pineapple Teriyaki Sauce.

Here's my usual blabber mouth post. Feel free to just skim the pictures.

First I made the beer bread and mac and cheese. I cheated a bunch with some packaged goods this time. I had a long day yesterday. I'll post about that tomorrow. Anyway, I found this box of beer bread in the cabinet and mixed that with some Lager.

Threw together the no boil mac and cheese. 1 box of macaroni, 8 oz. cheddar, salt and pepper or in this case SM Season All, butter and cover the noodles with milk. Bake at 350* for an hour. (Milk not pictured)

Now it's time to get stupid.

Ground up the ham and mixed in 2 eggs.

Buzzed up some pineapple in my new NutriBullet (that thing is awesome btw) to jazz up the store bought Teriyaki Sauce.

Threw it on the egg indirect around 400* with some cherry.

Kids were getting kinda hungry by this time.

I told them to put their chins on the table and smile to show the size of that beast. The boy's not the best listener. :tsk:

nice idea, thanks for sharing....

Reminds me of when I as stationed in the Azores, if you asked the local butcher for hamburger meat, you got ground ham. You had to ask for mincemeat to get ground beef.
