look for the pairs with the blue plastic. there are others in clear wrap as well (10-12 lb bags) but they are not on sale!

Got 200 pounds today. They have different sized bags all over the store for different prices, and then these two-packs in a few areas. Confusing. But yes, it's in the blue wrap.

Check your local store's ad online and see. In my area, the Royal Oak is on page 3 or 4 and the Kingsford is near the end, page 33 or so. I am going to see if my local store actually has it in stock or not. It wouldn't be the first time they advertised something and didn't have it.

I got 30 pounds of Kingsford for $6.98 and babyback ribs for $2.48 per pound all in the the same day. Life is good! :grin:

that was the case for me too however when I ring them up they were 6.98. wally world didn't change the price on the sign for the pallet.

grabbed 150 lbs of Kingsford today and another 80 lbs of El Diablo Mesquite lump from costco. waiting to see if HD or somewhere else will have their "home" brand on sale for a good price to add to the mixture. otherwise I'm just grabbing more el diablo

My store has a sign showing 12.88 but it rang up for the 6.98. I picked up a couple of bags of the Royal Oak for $10 too. It looks like they only have one pallet of that, typical for my closest store. Last year they had one pallet of RO in May and never restocked it again. I won't be surprised if it happens again this year. I have to go back again since I was alone and it was raining, so I only made one trip to the car.

Wow, thinks for the alert. I avoid Wal-mart at all costs so I would have never seen the sale, but between that and I see Royal Oak on sale for $10 for a 20 lb headed there tonight.

Personally, I like to use the Kingsford for quick grills, burgers and dogs, etc and save my lump for my low and slow BBQ.

I just picked up 6 - 2 packs. It rang up at the 12.88 price. They said the ad was wrong and was supposed to only be on Monday (Memorial day), but they honored the ad price since it didn't say Monday only in the ad. The ad says one time only or something like that.
