The iGrill didn't exist when I bought my ET-732. If I were shopping today, I would seriously consider the iGrill because my phone is pretty much within arms reach for me 24x7, so would be nice to be able to check temps with that instead of an extra device. The graphing seems like it would also be useful so you can see what was going on while not watching.

I have an igrill and love it i use it with my ipad. With the ipad app you can see both the graph and temps at the same time with the iphone you have to switch back and forth.

If only for the range the ET-732.

I also have the iGrill and it's sweet. The only thing is that the batteries run dry relatively quickly. I also had to send the first one I got back because it wouldn't pair with my phone. Customer service there is great though. But when that thing works, it's fantastic.

Does i-grill only work with Apple products or are there android apps?

There is an android app, im thinking about it also. The one thing i dont like, is that it comes with two meat thermo couples, and not an ambient thermocouple, which is an extra 20 bucks on an already pricey thermo. So, can you use the meat thermo, as the ambient?

I found another thermo that has wifi. The cyberQ wifi at bbq guru, it will be a little more of an investment.

Sure you can use the second meat probe to monitor your pit temps.

I have both. I like them both. The iGrill works well especially since I can use my phone or ipad. I wanted a temp probe and two meat probes so after using the iGrill I found a good deal on the 732 and bought that. If you only wanted two probes, I would just get whichever is less or the iGrill since it has two meat probes. Yes one of the meat probes can be used as a pit probe.

my wife just got me one of these as an early christmas gift. I can't wait to try it out for our saturday turkey smoke! Glad to hear it gives good results! Do walls or windows seem to mess with the bluetooth at all?
