first fatty couple questions

just put my first naked fatty on the smoker, question is how and what do you eat these with? On a bun? sliced? Like an appetizer? I know I plan on saving some to put on biscuits with gravy in the morning.

I slice mine and eat it like that.

Usually as a sliced appetizer but it would really be great with your breakfast too.

Yeah I do that too, just slice and eat. It's killer on biscuits. Sometimes I'll crumble some up in the baked beans. Or the heart attack special sandwich- toast a couple of pieces of bread, few slices off the fatty, and fried egg. Hot sauce of course.

I will normally make engrish muffins w/ eggs and cheese for breakfast with them. I also use them in stuffing and anything that calls for sausage

I like mine on a couple pieces of toast with a thick slice of cheddar and maybe some mustard or mayo. That or just eat it plain whenever I walk near it.

I have yet to cook a fattie. I notice that there are a number of suggestions about stuffing them. Have anyone tried injecting flavours? I was thinking of such things as maple syrup or teriyaki style sauce or chilli sauce or othe BBQ style sauces or a combination.

I prefer just using some of the Jimmy Dean hot or maple with any of your favorite rubs. Simple beauty.

Dude! It is great however you want to eat it. Throw it in an omelet, grilled cheese, FLT(fatty, lettuce, tomato). It is all good!
