Sorry... picture heavy!

I received a new steamer during deer season from two of my friends that were here for the week. They showed me how to make sticky rice so I have been trying to think of ways to serve it. I really like the rice, just need ideas. :)

Thank you MisterChrister! The cornbread isn't very spicy. You could add more jalapenos but I like it mild. :)

Beautifully done Jeanie! :clap2:

Did the wasabi help with the cold at all? Seems like hot stuff helps at least temporarily.

Those are some beautiful plates of food right there - hope you're feeling better!

Thank you Greg! I didn't notice the wasabi helping but I really love the stuff. I'll give it a try again and see what happens. Maybe I'll try a big spoonful. lol :-D

Thank you Teamfour!

Everything looks great. Hope you are feeling better.

You said you did a quick cure on the chops. what exactly does a quick cure entail?
Thank you Bowhunta! I like your name. :thumb:
I make a mixture of 1 TBS Tenderquick and 1 teaspoon sugar per pound of meat, then sprinkle over the chops and let them cure in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours. Then rinse well and cook. The TQ adds salt so I skip that when seasoning.
The cure keeps the chops moist. It works well on chicken pieces too.
Hope you give it a try sometime! Thanks again! :-D

Guerry they were turnip greens! Thanks! Hope you have a great 2013 too. :thumb:

Tim Thanks! Hope you have a great new year!

Militant, thanks! I love the grate. Brethren Matt from Meyer Metal Works made it. It's heavy duty and works nice!
I use it in my old UDS but have been using it in my BPS drum too...
Here are a few pics of it...
