Well I pulled the trigger and ordered a party G2. Big thanks to Kevin and Eric at fire and spice. They were great to deal with. Now for the wait I hope I can handle it and don't drive my wife nuts. Lol

Any specs on the G2 lineup? I heard they hold full size pans?

Yes they hold full hotel pans. It's 6 inches deeper than the party and the color will be burgundy.

This second generation Party has the competitor in mind with the following features:
6 inches deeper than the original model.
20" wide x 29" deep (includes latches & thermometer) x 48" tall (includes stack)
268lbs
2046sq in of cooking surface
Heavy gauge, round bar chrome plated racks (16 1/2" x 21 1/2")
A hotel pan/steam pan will be able to fit in the unit.
Heat Diverter comes standard.
The fire/ash pan is a little different: more like a basket, no top on it, bigger sides.
Ash Pan will slide out when you pull the fire grate out.
The skins/outside material is 20 gauge galvanized & bonded, heavy duty, will prevent rust longer.
The color won't be black... as of now it will be a deep burgundy! (subject to change)
