I have the pitmaster bbq Iq110 on my performer and I am extremely happy with it. It doesnt have the bells and whistles some of the others do but I don't really need them and for the price I couldnt be happier !

Are you having problems controlling the temps?

I have to iq 110 as well and really like it, once you figure out the vent settings it rocks. No you do not need one on a wsm it does however make it even more stable than it already is, and the light breeze on the coals eliminates the ash build up putting out the fire

Are you having problems controlling the temps?

No problems in most seasons, fall is here & we typically get wind gusts & or storms with rain, just curious on what some folks were using & thinking it might be nice to have something extra helping control temps in breezy or windy conditions, if I cant be on it 24/7. I understand most probably don't use one, just looking for some reviews. Thanks!

Mother Nature is the best one.

I use my IQUE110 when I am shooting for a long cook. It seems to make the fuel last longer than just manually adjusting the vents. If I'm doing a couple of racks of ribs or chickens, I usually don't bother. Doing two butts on the WSM this weekend, so I'll probably use the controller so I can concentrate on feeding the other two or three cookers I will have going for the party. The WSM isn't near as needy as the offset, with or without.

I have 2 Auber controllers for my smokeys. Can't beat them for the price. Not fancy. All it does is control the temp, not Wi-Fi, graphs, charts, bells or whistles, although it does have high and low alarms. On sale right now for $128.00.

I agree with the thought that an automatic draft control is not needed, but it is very nice to have and I would not part with my Guru. If it fits your budget, get it... The piece of mind and flexibility was worth it to me.
