Hey guys... So I thought I'd do a freezer dive for dinner tonight. I do it every once in a while to clean out the old stuff before it gets burnt. I figure it's kinda win - win right? :thumb: Only thing is It's been tearing with rain all day. This was meant for the grill... However mother nature thought otherwise.

This is what I came up with:
Cooked up some fried fish, scallops, pepper shrimps and sweet potato.

Despite keeping me from the grill I enjoy a nice cool rainy day every once in a while, and I gotta say the seafood dinner finished it off nicely! :becky:

Thanks for looking guys...

Those look great! It must be easy to catch fish with no tails - I imagine they don't swim very fast.

:heh: Very easy... And funnily enough, you pay more to catch these type too...

Sure Tim... I do them very simply. just season with a bit of garlic, black pepper, good paprika and a little soy. Before they go in the pan I roll them a bit in panko and pan fry. I put a pinch of good salt on top when it's done (i used some pink Murry river salt Bill sent me) Came out great IMO. :thumb:

Yeah, a local seafood company cuts off the fins for packaging. Bought these in the store, not from my usual fish lady (who btw drives around and sells the morning's fish out coolers in the back of her '88 nissan pickup) Can't get much fresher than that... :heh: These however weren't from her.

Cheers

Haven't had fish in a while. Looks great. Think I might have to get some fish for this weekend.
