Picked this up a couple blocks from my house "Unwanted Wedding Gift" brand new in the box $25.00. My WGA Gasser died about a month ago (10 years old and used just about every weekend at my daughters softball games). Been watching CL hoping a used one would show up. Anyways, I really hated that White or Beige lid so I went to HD and bought a can of 1200 deg. Black paint and fixed that problem I also added a Thermo just because it looked cool. I've used it 3x now and the only complaint I have is it's portability. It weighs 35 lbs but it velcros on top of my ice chest perfectly. Tonight at home I did some Korean BBQd Short Ribs.
Thanks for Lookin.
BTW has anyone on the Forum ever paid retail for a Weber BBQ? :-D

Nice find! I bought a used q100 at a thrift store for $30. I already have the q200 but the 100 came with the Weber cart. I was able to sell the 100 for $40. I take my q200 camping. I like how I can move it from my house to truck easily. I like the black color. How did you add the therm? I should add one

Ya, seriously, it looks great. Hope Weber picks up on the idea of a black lid.

Nice paint job! That makes it look mean...I have two of these, one I got for free, used, off of CL. The second I also got off of CL, that one cost me $25. They are great for camping and tailgating. I may consider painting them...:becky:

Sure like the black look-- I have seen them red also... I have a 300 and a 320, both beige, that color stains easily. Sure like the "Q" line, would like to pick up a 220 for camping.

Love my Q320. The Weber Q line are really nice and well made like everything Weber.

The black looks good. I don't mind the beige though.
