So I've REALLY wanted to get NFL sunday ticket but the wife wouldn't budge on spending 300 dollars for it. I figured if I gave up something she knew i loved she might budge. I told her i wouldn't buy anymore BBQ stuff until football season is over.

...meat and charcoal are not included in said agreement(i'm not totally crazy)

she looked shocked but agreed. This is the definitely the worst time of the year to make such a deal....stuff is going on sale everywhere. it's gonna be hard....i may need help dealing with the withdrawal...

anybody else have to make some kind deal with your wife/husband to get what you want?

I wouldn't have made that deal. But numerous race cars over the years has cost gawd knows how much in diamonds, italian tile floors, 50 designer purses, etc. All that was worth it, but I would never give up BBQ stuff.

Yea I think I got mine for $30 a month for 6 months. I had to jump at that deal instead of paying regular price for Sunday ticket!

I think it's an extra $100 to watch it on your mobile device though.

just to be clear, this deal means i'm just not allowed to buy more stuff besides meat and charcoal....i can still use everything i already have.

the cooking will not stop. call me crazy but i'd die without watching my team......i cant BBQ if i'm dead. besides, i'm confident i can talk her out of this agreement in a few months lol
