Hi! My first post! Seems an awesome Site!
Anyone here that can tell me where to get Atlantic Mackerel in the Houston area? I'm close to Katy. Also any advice about grilling them would be greatly appreciated. Have grilled some trout(specks) and snapper but, that's about it.
Going to try some grilled sweet onions the afternoon!! 1st time
TIA

Can't help you either. If you were near me, I'd give you some pacific mackerel. Welcome!

someone here can help. I found this site by googling Atlantic Mackerel. But haven't found the post yet. Actually am trying to find fish that are good for ya. My wife doesn't like Salmon very much. Have read that the Atlantic Mackerel is a good fish to eat.
Thanks Again!

Welcome burnin!
I love grilling fish like Tuna, Shark, Orange Roughy and Salmon using a hinged grill basket. A little olive oil, spices to taste, sometimes so lemon juice. Some veggies over some brown rice and you have a beautiful meal.
Hope that helps a little.

What's the big difference between Atlantic Mackerel and either Spanish or King Mackerel from the Gulf? Both of which are excellent eating fish.
