I never see a thread about using a larding needle. With today's lean beef it is a new experience.

Actually I have lard vension of course I didn't have a needle made a small hole in the roast and put plugs of lard in them sure help vension out

I got a larding needle at local Big Lots store for $2.00. Have not used it yet, but would love any ideas someone might have???
