So I had an extra kettle bottom and decided to make a fire pit. Turned out nice. Hopefully I can give it a test run Monday night. It's raining tonight.

I use the bottoms that the legs have broken off of and I set it in a car wheel. Works the same way!

Funny story about the lid, I found this baby on the side of the road. Everything but the lid. It is an old one, three vents on bottom and metal handles. Wish I had the lid tho.

Sounds like someone else did, and that's how he came across the bottom in the first place.
