heading to kansas city soon, and will be stopping by the bbq supply store. Looks like they have tons of bbq sauces, and rubs to choose from. I want to try something different than whats available locally, i mainly use SBR sauce, and Arthur Bryants, or Bad Byrons rub.

What are you guys favorite sauces and rubs that this place carries. Ive heard people mention stubbs, head country, blues hog, etc.. But ive never tried any of them. Whats everyones favorites? Thanks!

I went there last spring. It was cool to get to taste the rubs before you bought them.

Last time I was there, they didn't carry the Simply Marvelous...
But I agree with Ron L...
Plowboys is great. I would also recommend some Smokin' Guns. Both are local from the KC area too.

You might want to look here too. http://www.smokenfire.com/
Not terribly far from the other store (by midwestern standards). MORE stuff, though I don't think you can sample the rubs (not sure about that, though).
