At the suggestion of some Brethren, I'm trying to wean my way off of the kettle and work more with a bullet. I finished the modifications on my ECB and threw on some Mojo Criollo Chicken for the kids and my grandson.

Given the response, I think the advice from the Brethren was right! (Although I still love my kettle!)

Thanks again for all the input and advice!!

Beautiful birds! I love that Mojo marinade, it's packed with flavor. :thumb:

That looks really good!

Did you follow lesson one in "low and Slow" or did you do it on your own?

love the mojo. Been reserving some mojo and mixing it with honey for a final glaze to go with the marinade.

Thanks, all!

Yes Shadowdog, lesson one from "Low & Slow." I'm trying to build a baseline as this is only my 2nd cook on the ECB.

Mike, good idea on the honey. I think that would be a hit!

Thanks again!

i made four rotisserie chickens this weekend, two mojo and two teriyaki.
The teriyaki disappeared right away, people liked that one more (maybe 'coz was sweeter?). I still have some mojo leftovers, i like it...
Maybe i have to improve my recipe...
