How is this for a cook. 90 hamburgers, 100 pieces of smoked sausage and 100 hot dogs, all done on my Akorn using Kingsford. The guys at the pool could not believe how well it cooked and how little coal it used. I think there will be a couple of new Akorns in my neighborhood soon.

That's a lot of cooking using only an Akorn. Good job.

That's one heck of a load for a single 22.5" grill grate.

The swing away top upper rack really works well for the sausage and hot dogs.

I was actually going to ask about that but got distracted for a while.

My dad has one and he *loves* it. I'm debating it vs a performer for my next acquisition.

It's even more food for a 19.5" grate plus the extension grate.

They are highly efficient compared to their cousins (COS).

hah, that's what i get for assuming the size rather than measuring it/looking it up :P
