I need to get some gaskets for my new smoker as it leaks (vertical offset with a side firebox) and while got some high heat gasket silicone for inside the chamber door it does somewhat the trick but not really what I'm looking for. I tried looking into oven gaskets but hard to get and can be expensive.

I needed to find some 1/2 inch size not 1 inch and finally found a 10 foot long withstanding 1000 degrees on ebay that's self adhesive. Wondering if anyone has used this product before.

Kinda looks like the high heat gasket you can get from BGE, and that works well.

It looks like the product I use. Not sure about Nomex brand because ours goes to 1200 degrees. If you stick it on with the adhesive on the back self sticking, we have had to use wide flange aluminum rivets to keep on because of the moisture. Lasts about 20 cooks. Steve.
