I found this one on CL in my hometown. They are asking $40 bucks and says they will throw in some extra stuff. (They can keep the lighter fluid) Is this a good price or should I off a lower price.

$40 is the upper end for a OTS in good condition; you can get them around here for $25-$35 all the time. Make sure they have the ash catcher. Also, make sure the cooking grate is in good condition. If you have to replace the cooking grate, that's another $15.

Depends on if you really want one or not on the price. For me $40.00 is too much for a five year old kettle. It does appear appear to well taken care of though.

That ad shouldn't be up. I bought it yesterday!

FWIW: The charcoal was ~1/3 of a bag of cowboy brand lump. It was mostly trash so I tossed it. It did need replacement grates. I didn't pay $40 for it though.

Don't feel too bad. They pop up on CL all the time around here from what I've seen.

I see them all the time on Dallas CL. You can find one for the same price or better if you keep looking.

BTW, I think it's going to be tough to cook on that one, as the meat are going to fall off. :becky:
