Scored an old school 1991 Weber Performer on CL for $30.00. Stainless steel table top that flips up to access storage. Main part I need to replace is the one touch cleaning system, it was completely farked. Ordered a new one on Weber's site for $23 after shipping. Has a few dings and dents and the cooking grate is rusty but the cart and table top cleaned up really nice. Here's one pic as it was when I purchased it. Also need to take apart the igniter, lit fine manually though. Anybody with tops on restoration, send them my way!!!65770

Anyone know what hi temp paint might match the green Weber?

Totally awesome score! I can find regular webers for that price close to me, but a Performer! That's something to be proud of.

Great score man!. For the black I used rustoleum high heat ultra. I don't know if they make a green or not. I know some folks have used engine enamel or caliper paint, but it may not hold up to high heat in the bowl - the lid might be okay.

great score! I got one similar to that a few months ago, but I paid quite a bit more for it.

Google northline express. They might have what you're looking for.

Fiddled with the wires on the push button ignitor, just made sure everything was properly connected, started on the next push. Gotta love Weber, this baby is over 20 years old. I am now officially a Kettle Head!
