Horrible Q (No Kidding!!)

So long story short my wife is a teacher for an online school and had to go to graduation for this years students and graduation was 2 hours from here. After graduation the other teachers all wanted to go to a chain BBQ joint (which I won't name since I'm not sure if I should). Anyways she tried to talk them out of it but they wouldn't be deterred so away they went.

She said she decided to order Brisket since she already knew the pulled pork wouldn't taste as good as what we make. After getting it she said she barely took two bites and it was so nasty she gave it to a coworker who raved about how great it was. She brought the rest home for me to try and I promptly said what the !@#$ is that crap! LOL :shocked:

Let me tell you what, it is appalling that a restaurant can even get away with selling the crap as BBQ. It smelled awful, had a horrible texture, and tasted worse than it looked if that is even possible. :icon_sick :puke: You couldn't even smell or taste smoke. We threw it in the trash......I wouldn't even give that crap to my dog! Good thing her work was comping the bill for that dinner as I would have went on a tear if I got stuck with that $25 plate of junk!

All I can tell you, is my dog would be plenty mad at me if I didn't at least give him some of that before I pitched it. Now they do lick their ars, as well as other dogs ars. So I guess they are not as picky as you or I.

I'm always amazed at what people will spend good money on thinking it's good BBQ. What you gonna do? As long as people buy it they will be selling it.

That looks horrible. A new BBQ joint just opened up near my work. Numerous co-workers have wondered why I haven't eaten there, and why I'm not even going to bother trying it...stories like this are the main reason.

Well thats exactly why I always order the pulled pork. Never the brisket never the ribs. Maybe not as good as mine but the pork has a better chance of being edible. Never the chicken either for that matter.
