Tractor Supply smoker

Anyone have any experience with this smoker. At 179.99 its cheap and I want a cheap offset for home.

Keyword cheap. Get what you pay for. For $200 you can prolly find a pretty good offset on CL or even cheaper. Just my 2 cents.

For just a few dollars more you could probably get a new 22 WSM.

I've seen these. Thin metal and light weight. Biggest mistakes I've ever made when starting out is buying thin light weight smokers. You can find better deals on Craigs List and will be much happier.

If ya take good care of it ya might get 2 years out of it. The metal is really thin.

Hey guys slow down, before we tell this guy not to get it we are forgetting the biggest part, the convenient bottle opener!!! Come on guys, that alone is worth it!!!

These are not bad if you do the usual mods (check out youtube), however after a few summers you'll need to get a new one, which is when you will know if your ready to step up to the next level. I love off sets, but wsm are pretty reliable and will last forever.

Comes with a bottle opener, don't think about it, just buy it! Better yet, buy two in case you have friends over. No one likes sharing bottle openers.


Seriously though, if you want cheap check craigslist. Or better yet a non-offset charcoal smoker with thicker metal for the same price. Just because it's not offset doesn't mean you can't smoke on it.
