So besides SnakeRiver do you guys have any suggestions/ good experience with other premium beef suppliers online? Kobe/"American" Wagyu etc?

I'd like to try something supposedly better than prime and see if it is worth all the hub-bub.

My dad just ordered some from the Montana Wagyu Cattle Company.

The order just arrived on Wednesday, so he hasn't cooked any yet.

He bought a brisket for me (thanks Dad!) but it's in the freezer right now.

Try the Washugyu from Williams Sonoma

http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/washugyu-beef-brisket/?pkey=e%7Cbrisket%7C4%7Cbest%7C0%7C1%7C24%7C%7C2&cm_src=PRODUCTSEARCH||NoFacet-_-NoFacet-_-Feature_Recipe_Rule%7CTop_Wide_Agrarian%20-%20copy-_-

I have had 3 or 4 from there and really liked the taste. They tend to run a little smaller than I would like for comps, but it is a good starting point to see if it something you want to pursue. Their shipping is fairly resonable too.
