One year later and another CL THEFT!!

Ok so first and for most thank you all for the past year I've read,tried and shared a lot with all of your great guys and gals!

This morning after church a quick check of CL revealed a Performer for $25.00, I sent off a email and received one back and it said I was second in line that the first person was going to be there at 5 P.M. So I stewed all day and figured it was gone.. Well Lo and Behold just as I was pulling the brats of the grill for dinner, I got a call that if I still wanted it, *IT WAS MINE* :becky:

I told the guy as soon as I was done with dinner I would be on my way!

We got there I didn't even bother looking it over but with all it came with I wasn't even worried. He even threw in a WOK!! I don't know if is a Weber Wok but now I don't have to buy that Discada quite so soon.. After we loaded it up, I asked about the other buyer and he told me she was trying to talk him down to $20.00.. She walked away from a $325.00 grill over a FIVER....lol O well her loss my GAIN!!! :mrgreen:

You should be in jail! Unbelievable that anybody would sell that for that price. Feels like a divorce to me..... R2Egg2Q got me a 22" Weber lid for one of my drums when he was driving down the street and saw a woman going to the dump. She had a new Weber lid in the pile. Her soon to be ex-husband took the kettle and she couldn't wait to throw out the lid... :) Great score.
