The Tulsa Parks and Recreation Department has decided to purchase a trailer-mounted grill to rent to park patrons who use our facilities. It has fallen on me to acquire said grill. I've got $6000.00 dollars to spend on it. Any advice? I definitely think that grill-only is the way to go on this. People would be likely to fark up something with a separate fire box, and probably wouldn't have it long enough to cook Q anyway.

I would say definately Grill only. Alot of people wouldn't have a clue how to use a smoker.

Do you make anything like that, Spicewine?

I'd say a $6000 Spicewine smoker but that's just me! :)

Sorry, Jay, just trying to help! LOL!

Don't forget to have it insured somehow. Someone's gonna rent it, and you aint gonna see it again.

Something like that Klose 36 X 84 steak and Tri-tip cooker.

There will be a hefty deposit for the use of it. We may actually deliver it wherever it needs to go and then chain it to something to try to cut down on that sort of thing.

That Klose Steak and Tri-Tip one does look pretty good. I just hope we have enough room to store it at the shop. I'd hate to have to keep it at my house 8)

I looked at that one, Mista. I actually buy a lot of stuff from Belson. It just doesn't look like it's worth the money when I could get a Klose for not much more. 12ga vs 1/4" plate is a powerful argument.

And Jeff, next time you're in Tulsa and want to make use of our beautiful park facilities, I'll make sure you get a good deal on grill rental!

Got family in the area, Vitamin... in fact, we used to have family reunions there back in the days long before I was born. Still have family in Tulsa and Broken Arrow, although now distant relatives. I might just make it down one day.
