Win a FREE copy of

Weber's Charcoal Grilling:

The Art of Cooking with Live Fire

http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o189/motoeric/cover_pic.jpg

The Brethren's friends at Weber have given us some copies of this beautiful, hardbound cookbook to give out to readers of the Brethren's magazine, Smoke Signals.

You can check out the most recent issue here and get details on how to win a copy. It's completely free, Weber is donating the books and the Brethren even pays for shipping.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the writers for their hard work. They donate their time, energy and talent to support the Brethren and their fellow enthusiasts.

Thanks for the heads up, there is a ton of good content in this edition of the magazine. Excellent job by all involved.

The article on Turkey Hill Iced Tea caught me by surprise. I grew up with a Turkey Hill Mini Market in my backyard, literally. It's funny seeing an article like that, you always just assume everyone already knows about it. I will say their tea is really good. The lemon or orange tea cooler is the bomb. Their ice cream is great as well if you get the chance.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of their teas. At a summer comp when it's hot and humid... nothing better for someone who doesn't drink beer.

What a great offer. I got the chance to meet Kevin Kolman at my first bbq competition. Besides giving me good scores, he gave me great advice on how to make my food better.

We are giving away a knife in our next issue. Within reason, what sort of giveaways would you like to see in the future?

Was the "email"@bbq-brethren.NET a mistype? Referring to the .NET part as this is bbq-brethren.com?

Sample packs of rubs or sauces, I think most would be grateful for anything. Thanx.
