View Full Version : Smoked Salmon w/ Honey Mustard Glaze (Pron)

Started with a really nice n fresh 2.75 lb salmon filet (skin on) I got from Supreme Lobster...

Got the Chargriller Outlaw to 225* and a nice clean burn goin...

After about an hour and a half...

After about 2 and a half hours, I mixed up a honey mustard glaze consisting of stone ground mustard, fresh thyme, orange blossom honey, lemon zest, lemon juice, S&P and microplaned garlic...

After I applied the glaze...

When done, I drizzeld some warmed orange blossom honey on it and let it rest for a bit...

Sliced and served with spring mix, alfredo noodles and some crab-stuffed ABTs...

I made something similar on the grill recently. Had a nice 2# salmon plank. I made a sauce of about half yellow mustard and half honey that my uncle raised. I added a pinch each of garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Cooked it indirect for about an hour. My wife said it was the best she had ever had and wanted me to do it that way always.

Looks great. Been thinking about trying grilled salmon, you have just twisted my arm.
