I really wanted to get a trailer that could house all my BBQ cooking and competition stuff all in one place. I just didn't have the funds to go out and get one that was done. So I looked and looked craigslist ebay everywhere finally I found one that was in my price range. It was listed on ebay classifieds. It was just a few hours away so after a little email haggling. I got him down on his price.

I found a home built 1970's enclosed trailer. I loaded the wife and kids up and drove 3 hours away to "take a closer look". When I got up to it It was not the prettiest trailer I have ever seen but I could see what I wanted. I pointed out all the problems and talked him down another hundred... This is what I have done so far.

Nice start! Are you going to add outlets? House wiring behind the drywall? I like that you cut the window so early...part of it is because you were insulating, but it starts to take shape once you start hackin away at it, huh!

A buddy of mine is dropping off an a/c later this week. NO there is not any dry wall in there! I am trying not to add weight till I have to add weight... It is 1/4" coroplast or signboard. I got it at cost from a sign shop. It is plastic cardboard very easy to use and light. It cuts with a knife. I used a lot of it in model airplanes and so on.

Yes I am going to add outlets with conduit and a breaker. I will put my generator on the front with an open bottom dog house to keep the noise down.

Looks great so far Dan! Keep the pics coming.

Google "restaurant auctions" for your area and you should be able to find SS sinks & counters as well as cooking pans, etc. Good luck! :-D

As long as you do not move the trailer (ANYWHERE) and keep the trailer in an environmentally controlled garage, you will have no problem with the sheetrock.

I am surprise no one has chime in with this:

Looks great! Be sure to pick up a fourth sink if you can. Most health department rules want to see a three pass sink for the cooking items and the. A separate hand sink for washing the paws you are using to serve folks with. No matter if you using plastic gloves or not. Watch the regs on the drain inner connects and grey water collection rules too. Keep those pics coming!
