Nothing beats a Chicken on a Rot! I have dedicated my restored rescued 22" Redhead with the Weber Rot attachment as my goto Rotisserie grill!

Great looking bird you have there!

Nice job but I have a couple of suggestions. It looks a tad burnt so I would use less fire and more water in your drip pan.

It does look a little dark, but it looks good.

I've been cooking rotis chix every week since I got my rotis setup a few weeks ago. Love that stuff! Stuffing citrus in birds is an awesome thing to do - nice work! :thumb:

Looks friggin' great to me. I love rotiss chicken. I don't think it gets any better than that. 5 bucks and you can feed the whole family...

It did get a tad over done on the skin. Still trying to figure out the perfect vent settings on the performer. I didn't put anything in the pan this time. Next time I'm thinking apple juice in the pan with only 1 charcoal basket lit instead of 2.

I like mine like that. I might have to get me a rotisserrie. Has anyone ever injected one before putting on rotisserrie? I'm thinking something spicy.

Sounds good. I'm glad you took my comments the right way.:thumb: I wasn't trying to be overly critical, just helpful and you understood that. I too have some problems controlling temps in my kettle. It can get really hot in those things in a hurry. I'm thinking that rather than having only one basket, just cut the amount of charcoal you used in each basket in half. That way you will have more even temps. And please let us know if the apple juice helps. I use only water 'cause I'm cheap and most folks say it doesn't matter but in this case it might 'cause it is so close to the chicken.
