I think at this point, I have posted this in so many threads that it will probably be tagged as SPAM.

So I was at Sam's Club last night when I saw a bag full of fresh frozen, gutted and scaled Tilapia. I figured this was more than a coincidence that I just so happened to find fish at Sam's Club, and there were four (4) Throwdowns that I could enter them in all at once! So I had to get them.

I started the fish on the hot side of the grill...

Then I finished it up on the cooler side.

It cooked up pretty good. It was supposed to be cloudy this morning, but instead it decided to start raining and snowing! So I wound up having to take my pics in less than ideal lighting...

I thought some ABT's would go with it...

I also made a sauce with some Butter, Brown Sugar, a healthy dose of Southern Comfort, and some Dijon Mustard. Don't worry, this sauce was home made and did not come from a jar or a can.

It was pretty good.

This pic makes me uncomfortable. :scared::eek:
Actually, it was even more uncomfortable in real life. The pic doesn't do the scene justice. If you notice, there were two more ABT's in the picture just before that one. Imagine my surprise when that fish ate those ABT's from right out under my nose!

It seems more like "Deja Vu" fish.

You don't scale your fish before cooking it? Do you like the extra crunch?

Let me guess, you probably peel the skin off your ribs too?:loco:

 It was already scaled. The bag was labeled "Gutted and scaled". It still had a head and fins though. Honestly, that's why I bought them, for the head and fins!

I was away from the computer all day and when I finally get a chance to log in, I find the same thread posted half a dozen times. Let me tell you, it takes a lot of nerve to do a thing like that. :tsk:

BTW, nice plate, is it new?

You obviously haven't been over to Woodpile yet!:becky:

The plate is a recycled cardboard box that I got from the government to use for Throwdowns. It only cost taxpayers $598,025,431,278,632.47, but most of that was wrapped up in Greek bonds I think. They claimed that my paper plates were wasteful or something like that, I wasn't really listening because the government lady had these big old...

Anyway, this thing is a bitch to clean, because water destroys it.

It looks nice though.

I guess I just don't get the "whole fish" thing, LOL. IMO, so much better when filleted!
