This morning was in the upper 50s and a good day to season my Discada.
I built a 22" Discada, that took on several shades of blue when I burnt the
paint off. Now it's getting darker with seasoning...

Tonight I'm going to give it it's first cook.
I'm going to make a giant Chicken Stir fry.

Looking good!! They are the bomb to cook on! After I burned mine in, and after each use, I use some kosher salt & work it in a circular motion with a dry piece of towel. Cleans it right up. Then a touch of fresh oil to keep the rust at bay. Cheers!!!

I like it and also a wok for this type of cooking. Just wish I had known what I was getting from the farm. The scalloped edges make it a little delicate. Season like a wok.

What is the method for seasoning a Discada?
Same as a wok or a cast iron fry pan, heat it up, pour cooking oil in.
