Opened up a bottle that I got from Cookswithfire over the weekend.

Elmer's "Mixed" Sweet and Hot.

This sauce is awesome. I need to get this stocked locally.

Anyone else got a favorite sauce going lately?

I have been sending out Big Rick's, made in Wichita, Kansas. My favorite flavor is the Chipolte Hot.

Ooh- yeah, Elmers! It be bad! That's been a favorite lunch place for me for years now. If I can't cook it myself, that's a pretty good substitute!

I'm into Head Country sauce right now. The Hot variety is pretty damn nice.

Buzz,

I'll be vacationing in Sheboygan this month.

I'll pop into the local store and see if I can find this stuff.

Any pointers (Wisc. Chain stores that you know carry it)

Got no idea where you can find the sauce Turk (Bavarian bBQ Boys) gave me my only bottle--am afraid it may be too spicy for competition but is darn tastee

this isn't too bad.... Think I gave BRD a bottle some time back, ask him what he thought since I'm a known anti-sauce type.

I don't really have a favorite sauce, but there lots of brands that I like for one reason or the other. Variety is the spice of life otherwise life gets too dull.

Ditto that Wayne. I like to make my own and never measure or use the same ingredients so it never it turns out the same two times in a row.

Chad's had some Show Me sauce - hand delivered in a parking lot

Yep, I've had Show Me and Blues Hog - my favorite is whatever I have currently on-hand!! :D

I don't really have a favorite - a lot depends on what type of meat I'm having. I like Rudy's on brisket, Sonny's sweet on chicken, Blues Hog/Sticky Pig/etc on pulled pork, Gates/Show Me/etc. on whatever if I've got a bottle available.

My own. It's called Max's Scruffy Dog BBQ Sauce and the lucky bro who gets my name in round 6 is going to get some.

Please look at the trading post forum. There are directions in there. Round six may be closed already.

I like to use Blues Hog on pulled pork. I use one quart per butt. We usually buy it at one of the Spring Hill Winerys in Missouri.
