View Full Version : Best chicken ever
We do a fair amount of chicken: satay, Greek and other marinades, BBQ, whatever. Tonight we were a little pressed for time. I just unwrapped some thighs, coated them with Foil Hat Rub and some parsley and tossed them on the grill about 6 minutes a side. Nothing special and you know what they look like (in other words, I didn't take pics :becky:). My youngest told me it was the best chicken ever. Later on when we were putting stuff away, my wife told me, "I just had the best bite of chicken of my life, ... seriously." For those who haven't tried it yet, here is the link to the recipe.

Gore, dude! I don't know about you but I have accomplished every thing in my life that was important to me. What makes me really happy is when somebody says "that was the best thing I have ever eaten......!!" Life is really simple, let's try not to over complicate things...
Very nice!
Marty, I couldn't agree with you more. I'm really with you there. :thumb:
My sister and her husband are coming over this weekend, so I might have to give this a try. Thanks for your daring research

Yes, and I've done that on just about everything. For the record, it tastes great on bacon. :thumb:

Gore, thanks for posting this. I took note of the recipe a while back, but never got around to making it. Now you've inspired me to give this a shot! Just curious, did you source all the ingredients in the rub as per Chris' notes?

Rub on bacon? Can bacon get any better?
Thanks for reminding me I need to get off my arse and put some Foil Hat rub together. :thumb:
And thanks for putting up the recipe, biggy! :clap2:
Thanks for reposting Chris's recipe post, Gore. I love the way it sounds, so I saved it, and will use it the next time I make chicken. Sounds delicious!! :-D And Chris, thanks for giving your all for the Brethren. Like I said... you're one of the good guys! :thumb:

Nope, the recipe I had did not have notes, so I made my own with added fuzziness.
