Congrats!! It looks just like mine! Is it a 310? Mine is a NG, given to me by the best husband ever. He even got plumbers in to run the gas line to the patio for me! You're gonna be doing some awesome hot and fast on that baby! Hug that wife... she is AWESOME!! :clap2:

Ah! You got the side burner! I didn't think I'd need one, so I told him not to get that. Now I wish I'd said I wanted it, because I could be lighting chimneys with it! lol Fantastic gift!! Your wife... she is a keeper!

Congratulations! Looks like the little fellow wants something to eat. I'd have to cook my wife's favorite for the break-in.

Congrats!! I love my Genesis. Might want to put away that glass cleaner though, they say to only use mild soap and water. The amonia might cloud the finish. Just my $.02.

Nice! I really only use my old Genesis for storage of BGE stuff most days, but they are fine grills for sure!

Go get a step stool and some tongs for that little one!

My old gasser would struggle to hit 300 on a warm summer day and yet my Genesis can go to near 600 in the winter. And yes sometimes it is just too darn cold to fuss with the kettle when you are just cooking some bonelss breasts. You will LOVE it!

It's so green there. That's not fair. Nice score though.

Oddly enough, I happened into my S-330 on Craigslist for $550 because of a guy that was mad at his wife. She ordered natural gas instead of propane, but he is the one that assembled it before realizing the mistake. It was obviously a source of contention and he just wanted it gone.

I love the sear burner to finish roasts from the kettle, the side burner to keep the oil and mess outside when cooking chicken wings or a fresh catch of crappie. That side burner with some hot cast iron is a great way to finish some sizzling fajitas just before serving. And with unlimited gas, I will fire it up just to cook the kids a few hot dogs from start to finish in 5 minutes.

Yep, those new Genesis grills put out some serious heat for sure. The sear burner caused a skirt steak to catch on fire with me one day and I have been gunshy as my arm hairs grow back. Congrats on the wife and the grill!

It's a trick. Next thing you know she will get you a complete outdoor kitchen.
Some women will do anything to stay out of the kitchen. :)
