I am starting to cook chicken. Do others spatchcock them, split them, or...?

Does anone suggest resources?

I prefer Spatchcock.

I could go either way, but spatchcocking saves time, saving fuel. You have to spend that little bit of effort at first to spatchcock it though. It's not hard.

Spatchcock for me please. cuts down on cooking time, and cools down faster while resting. meaning i can eat sooner :-D

I'll throw my lot, for what it's worth, in with the rest. Spatch for me also.

Spatchcock! Not only is it the coolest word ever it gets any bird nice and evenly cooked. Although 15 pound turkeys take a little work it is still worth it!

A good pair of 'Kitchen Shears' makes short work of your Chicken.

I like SpatchCock, it looks cool but to be honest, pieces to me are very good! It allows me to pull them as they get done.
