I have a 28 gallon air compressor, that I wish to turn into a horizontal grill.
I have seen a lot of builds of larger 60 gallon+, do any one have a documented smaller horizontal smoker/grill. Just in the begging stages of planning. Thanks for any info that may apply to a smaller build? Too

I dont see it being too small at all. I think the same principles would apply... do you have a picture of the tank to get an idea of dimensions?

Cheers

I will take a few photos tomorrow of the tank and parts I have so far! photo post??
I have a photo of a tank that is 26 gallons, and holds 20 hamburgers or 4 rib racks and 2
7lb pork butts. My tank is 32 inch long, 15.5 wide and 52 inch around. I will post diagram if I can learn to post photos! Thanks for your thoughts. Tomm

WoW did this work, this is the photo of the food on the 26 gallon grill! Not the prettiest grill but the builder has shown some great food on it! If this photo thing works , this was crazy easy on my ipad2 with a pb app.

Once its uploaded to Photobucket just click on IMG code below the pic and paste it in your reply.
Actually, this is about the same size as the cook chamber of my NB Hondo

I've made a grill with that design before and found it had major hot spot issues. For what it's worth I suggest going with a regular offset design with a night thick heat baffle.

The following are what parts I have so far! Also example of how I'd like the smoke pipe to be centered. Also I am thinking of doing a gas grill. Just throwing out for discussion.

Those dimensions are almost the same as my old Char-broil offset smoker.
