Im looking for wood for my Lang, and have a guy whos got "2 year seasoned oak and cherry in rounds let me know I can have it split and delivered"

Oak and cherry are perfect for smoking, but Im not sure how seasoned they would be if theyre still in logs. This is also my first stickburning experience so the last thing I need is learning to smoke with wet wood

Two years? Fire 'em up! Those are well dried, even in log form.

2 years? Check it out, almost too dry for a Lang.
6 months of seasoning is great for a stick burner. If its TOO dry, the wood tends to ignite too quickly and make acridic smoke.
