This was on the reverse side label from a flat-iron steak I picked up. Does anyone else use any liquid in a rub or is this peculiar?

I use olive oil and red wine in a rub I use for lamb. It just makes the rub kinda moist, but it still sticks to the meat.

Wet rubs/pastes are really nice. You can use fresh herbs that way.:thumb:
