so i went to open my WSM 22.5 door to throw in more wood and the entire handle assembly fell apart and dropped inside the cooker.
i fished through all the charcoal ash the day after but couldn't find the hardware.
i called weber to find where i could purchase a new assembly.
2 minutes later, there's a new door on it's way to me....NO CHARGE!
man o man, ya can't beat that!

My story doesn't compare, but they sent me a 3-pack of hubcaps for my OTG, also for free. They have the best customer service I've ever experienced!

The lid on my 22" WSM was bent slightly. They sent me a new lid with handles and lid temp probe-they did not want the old one back! By far the best customer service I have ever experienced!

Great for you! I was told a few weeks ago I had to buy a new door assembly! Then again I registered mine over 3 years ago, maybe it was out of warranty.?. How old was your WSM?

Yeah... not that I've had much trouble with Weber quality, but they have been really cool to deal with when needed. Hope to get me a big brother to my little bullet some time next year.

Had it happen to me at a comp! The brass ferrulle pressed into the handle failed. Be extremely careful not to reef on the screw that holds the door latch!
Weber took care of it.
